I graduated from the University of Kansas with a Mathematics degree and soon realized that I enjoyed the problem-solving part of math more than sitting in an office all day! Being a professional organizer combines my two passions, solving problems and making things look pretty. I moved to Arizona right after I graduated, where I met my now fiancé. We recently moved to Dallas for his job and spend most of our time getting lost on the highways. In my free time I love playing golf, painting, working on my Etsy store, and cuddling with my puppy. I have a rambunctious Snorkie (Schnauzer Yorkie) named Rory, after my favorite professional golfer, and I’d be lying if I said he wasn’t the king of our castle.
I strongly believe that the way your home looks affects your mental health. I do my best to keep my home as tidy as possible but unfortunately, I am human. Sometimes, spaces get out of hand, and they get out of hand quick. I understand that life happens and that not everyone knows how to organize or how to set up systems in their home. Organizing is not something that’s taught in school and rarely is it taught at home. And even if you were taught what to do that doesn’t necessarily mean you’re passionate about it. I love organizing, I love what I do, and I love helping others. I can’t wait to let you feel the calm that the organizing storm can bring and make you love your home again.
