Get To Know Julie

Hi, my name is Julie.

For most of my life, I’ve been a very tidy and organized person but until recently, I didn’t realize that there was an entire industry devoted to helping people become more organized.

My first career was in aviation where I obtained my pilot license, worked as a flight attendant as well as a flight dispatcher for more than 10 years. In 2014, I pursued a lifelong dream of becoming a Pastry Chef and graduated from Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa with my Diplome de Patisserie. I’ve enjoyed several different aspects of the food service business as a Pastry Chef from working at a quaint boutique restaurant in Nanaimo B.C. to baking 3,000 + pies at Thanksgiving for a small family-owned pie shop.

I’ve been fortunate to experience several very different industries throughout my professional career but after several long distance moves which included very deliberate downsizing, I discovered my passion for organizing and helping people. My natural ability and interest in becoming more organized and living a more fulfilled life with less clutter was a perfect path to the Organizing industry. With the opportunity to become a Professional Organizer within my reach, I jumped in with both feet & was thrilled to become a member of the Sorted Out team.

I’m an active member in the NAPO DFW Chapter and have Level 1 Certificates of Study in Chronic Disorganization and ADHD from ICD.

My husband and I relocated from South Florida to DFW in October 2020. We love living here and exploring this new city we now call home with our dog Walter.

I look forward to helping you get organized!
