Hi! I am Courtney West. I have been married for 25 years to a fellow organized fanatic. We love to travel, shoot skeet, watch college football, and to out organize each other!

My hidden talent for organization came naturally to me as a child growing up in San Antonio living in an old historical home. My closet was tiny. Literally the width of a hallway and just deep enough to hang a hanger. To add extra hanging space, I had an antique wardrobe. At a very young age I learned the infamous quote that I still live by today – A Place for Everything and Everything in It’s Place. My family quickly picked up on my organization obsession and my Grandmother became my first client.

I have a Master of Education from Trinity University and a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Texas State University. I spent 20 years as an Elementary teacher in Title I schools. The ladder part of my career I was an Instructional Coach and Dyslexic Therapist. There is no better playground to hone in one’s organizational skills than the elementary classroom. Setting up my classroom at the beginning of each school year was such a high for me. My goal was to always have an at home feel for the kids, but to help the ADHD kiddo with the right structure to excel and feel calm in.

I am so excited to be apart of the Sorted Out team. I have truly found my happy place. I live for matching hangers, color coding, label making, organizational tubs and baskets…you name it!
