Get To Know Catherine
I am a DFW native currently living in the northern suburbs. As a child and teen, I was a natural ‘collector’ (think rocks, books, music, etc.) which naturally led into creating personal organizational systems. This intrinsic interest quickly bubbled over into organizing the entire family home.
While I initially wanted to pursue a career in arts (with an interest in restoration & curation), I pivoted into a 20+ year career working with special needs populations. As both a classroom teacher and later as a speech & language pathologist, I know that processes and systems are key to supporting both a professional career as well as a functional home, emphasizing this balance.
I am a specialist in neuro-diverse affirming therapy styles and sees every child & family for their individual strengths-based perspective. Understanding that an individualized approach is key to accommodating the diverse populations we serve, my goal is to help families create a space that feels peaceful and functional for their lifestyle.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, gardening, geocaching, parenting, road trips, houseplants, live music, and relaxing in the pool. I’m a long longtime volunteer of a local border collie rescue and rehabilitation group, and have a home filled with dogs!
