Kady Berridge

Kady Berridge | Sorted Out

Executive Assistant at Sorted Out

Kady is proud to call Texas home! She was born in Houston, but raised in Dallas from the early age of 2, and now lives in Frisco with her husband, Brian, 5-year-old son, Brady, and two and a half-year-old daughter, Caroline.

Growing up, Kady always had a strong passion for working with children. After graduating from Abilene Christian University with her Bachelor’s degree in Education and certified to teach Early childhood up to 6th grade, she landed her first teaching job in Plano ISD. She was a classroom teacher for 13 years. 9 of these years were spent in Plano ISD teaching fourth and second grade, followed by 3 years in Frisco ISD. She ended her teaching career as a preschool teacher at Custer Road Christian Day School.

While Kady had a strong passion for teaching, she also enjoyed using organizational strategies when setting up her classroom each fall in order to create an environment that was calm, welcoming, and structured for all types of learners. As Kady modeled her organizational skills to her students on a daily basis, her students began to recreate organizing strategies with their journals, station work, and supplies throughout the year. She helped her co-workers stay organized as well with textbook inventory checklists, student data files, and sorting out classroom materials. Kady believes that part of her success as a teacher is due to her organization and the structured environment she created each year.

Not only was Kady’s classroom organized, but she knows that staying organized at home is key to running an operative home. Organization helped her tremendously when toys started to accumulate over these past few years with her two children. Keeping her playroom organized has not just helped Kady declutter, it has taught her kids how to sort and clean up toys. Brady and Caroline know exactly where to find something on their own, as well as where it belongs when it’s clean up time.

After 13 years of teaching, Kady believed that God was calling her to pursue other passions in her life outside of education. Through a close friend, Kady came across Sorted Out, which instantly sparked her interest into the world of helping others see the benefit of having an organized lifestyle. Being a part of Sorted Out gives Kady the opportunity to use her talent of building strong relationships with both the clients and organizers in order to guide clients in finding the perfect organize service that will lead to a more functional lifestyle.
